Peach Baby Puree
Ripe peaches chopped, cooked for a few minutes and blended into a sweet, smooth puree for babies.
Recipe in testing: I'm cooking it in my TM7™ and will update the steps and the photo with my own.

Ripe peaches make a fragrant, sunny puree that tastes like summer. Choose peaches that smell sweet and give a little when you press them; they need no sugar at all. There is no salt or honey either, just peaches and a spoonful of water, so your baby tastes the fruit as it is.
The Thermomix® TM7™ chops the peeled peaches, cooks them for a few minutes until tender and blends them smooth in the same bowl. Out of season, frozen unsweetened peach slices work just as well. One batch gives you about twenty small portions for the freezer.

Ingredients
Instructions
- Place the peaches in the mixing bowl and chop 3 sec/speed 4.
- Scrape down the sides of the mixing bowl with the spatula, add the water and cook 8 min/100°C (212°F)/speed 1, until the peaches are very soft.
- With the measuring cup in place, blend 1 min/speed 5-10, increasing speed gradually, until smooth.
- Let the puree cool until lukewarm, check the temperature on the inside of your wrist and serve a small portion in a bowl.
Tips
- Ask your pediatrician before starting solids and about the right texture for your baby's age. First purees are usually very smooth; as your baby grows, blend less, and later offer soft, ripe peach mashed with a fork.
- To peel peaches easily, cut a small X in the bottom of each one, cover them with boiling water from a kettle in a heatproof bowl for 1 minute, then move them to ice water. The skins slip right off.
- Using frozen unsweetened peach slices? Use 600 g (about 4 cups) straight from the freezer and cook 10 minutes instead of 8.
- Keep the puree covered in the fridge up to 3 days, or freeze it in an ice cube tray, then move the cubes to a freezer bag and use them within 2 months. Serve it in a small bowl, and throw away what your baby does not finish.
